itunes 9 bluescreens while syncing ...

Hallo,

itunes produce a bluescreen while syncing my ipod nano 4.G. I tried to reinstall itunes and to reset and reload my ipod, everything with no success. The itunes diagnostics reports: connections ok and while syncing test "no ipod found". Thats crazy. I have no idea what's to do. Please help.

9.0.2 crash ...

I installed iTunes 9.0.2 today. The install itself went fine but when I try to open iTunes, it will try to update my library only to close. I do not get a detailed description from Windows why it must close only that "iTunes has stopped working". I have tried to repair and also to reinstall iTunes but have had no success. Any suggestions?

No audio for bought videos from itunes ...

First of all I use:
itunes 9.0.2, Qicktime 7.6.4
and Windows 7.

I'm not able to hear any sound for bought itunes videos.

First I was also not able to see the video I got only a grey area. But this could be solved. Now I'm still not able to hear anything. For mp3 files or tvshows I have no problems - just for bought videos from itunes store. Can somebody please help?

Problem with Windows7 Upgrade and itunes ...

I have upgraded one of my PC's to windows 7. My problem is that songs that I have had album art for doesn't have it and when I search for it it can't find it. I click on get info and everything is grayed out I can't make artist or song changes and the TAB that says artwork is missing. How do I fix this? This has never happened to me before. Problem syncing video in iPhoto with ...

Hi... I've got a stupid problem syncing my iPhoto and iTunes together. I've got an iPhone that I'd like to use in displaying some of my pictures and videos as well. I've made up albums that include pictures and video however I can only sync the pictures and not the video. I'm at my ends on this problem and have tried numerous things including using iMovie to make those videos into movies, but the problem with that is that I can't incorporate those into the album either. This is SOOO STUPID and frustrating! Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry for the rant.. It's been a problem I've been stuck with for a long time.

ITunes 9 started to leave blank row when I delete some songs. It looks like it forgets to update the rows. and you can see the blank row that won't disappear till you restart iTunes.

iTunes 9 annoyance - Get info window ...

When you right click on file in library and choose Get Info - that window always tends to be in focus of other application windows on your computer till you close it. In early versions of iTunes you can leave it in the foreground and work in other application, but now it tends to come on top every 30 seconds.

Does anyone know: Is it possible for two users on the same computer to "SHARE" the same iTunes Library so you don't have to duplicate libraries on the hard disk?

So far I have been having to load 25GB of Music on my wife's account and the same 25GB itunes library on my account.
I have put the single iTunes files in the "PUBLIC" music folder and set that as the default on the ITUNES "Preferences" but still does not work for some reason.

Album artwork shows on Itunes but not ...

I have a 30gb Ipod classic and I have tried everything to get the album artwork to show on my Ipod. The issue I'm having is that some artwork shows and some does not. For example, my 30 Seconds To Mars album shows the artwork on the first two songs, has a blank, black image for song three and the image appears for song for again. Available Downloads locking up iTunes ...

After upgrading to iTunes 9, it immediately starts trying to download a bunch of SD versions of HD content I have purchased at the store. Problem is, when it goes to download the first one, it will not start and the "hours remaining" just starts climbing. It is currently at 11000 hours remaining. It will not let me pause or delete the item and iTunes will not even close. I have to manually end the program and then it will not restart until I restart the computer. I don't even want the SD content. Is there a way to "clear out" the downloads outside of the iTunes program. I have purchased items that do need to download but I can't get to them because it gets hung on the old stuff.

Part way through a song, it stops and ...

I've looked, and it's always the same part of the song. What happens is, the thing showing the part that the song's at, once it gets to that point in the song, it jumps over to where there's only a few seconds left, then just goes on to the next song! it's usually a little past halfway that this happens. Also, it seems to only be songs that i've edited in a program called "Wavepad" and saved again. How can I fix this?

Need help!

I purchased the HD version of Quantum of Solace and keep getting the dreaded (err 3259).

The weird thing is all my other downloads work just fine, so it is not a firewall issue (which is turned off by the way).

The other issue is that everytime I start iTunes, this download remains in my queue and I can even remove it!

Any assistance would be most greatful

iTunes Store Loading Problem ...

I recently downloaded iTunes 9 and iTunes 9.0.1 and have had this problem ever since. When I click the "iTunes Store" it takes a long time to load, then when its done loading, most of the screen is white with everything crammed over on the left side of the screen, making the page really long. Theres also a couple of ads for albums and things jumping all over the screen. I know this isnt what its supposed to look like. I have never had any problems with iTunes before version 9, so it probably isnt my computer.

Any help woud be GREATLY appreciated!

OutlookSyncClient has stopped working ...

I am at my wits end on this...My iphone 3G has stopped syncing with outlook. all worked fine on my older system. just built up a new system running win 7 64 bit. now when i try to sync i get a message that "OutlookSyncClient has stopped working". still syncs the music and podcasts but no outlook calendar or contacts. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Office 2007 and 64 bit version of itunes. still not working.

When I have the Music Screen up there are mulitple copies of some songs. AND some have an i next to them. What is that about? Also what about all the duplicates?

Hi,

I want itunes to be started at system startup, to be minimized to the system tray, so that podcasts can be downloading in the background all the time.
Does anyone know why this is not a option in Itunes preferences? Anyone know of a workaround to make this work?

Currently I have itunes in the startup folder in programs. I have tried replacing this with two different scripts I found on these forums, one worked ok with itunes 7 but not v9. (itunes starts but it is maximised).
Setting the itunes shortcut properties to 'start minimised' doesn't work either.

If anyone has found a way to do this I'd really appreciate it.

To any apple coders, should they be reading this - this is trivial, practically a one liner - why on earth don't you have this done already?

Changing OS to windows7 ...

Hi! im currently using Windows Vista (no flaming!...) and today i've gotten sick of it and i wana go for Windows7. My question is if i can get an exact copy of my iTunes library to that new OS? im not deleting my data on the disks, just formating C:\ and installing the Windows 7 there.

My guess is that i could login as my iTunes user, and download my bought music etc. is that posible?

I can't believe I'm even saying this. I just bought my first iPod, figuring all the major kinks must be out by now.. Clearly, since the backspace key is utilized primarily (99% of the time) as a navigatory key by Windows users, it should be disabled in iTunes as a deletion key. I don't much care if that's how they do it on the Mac, I don't use a Mac, and it's a significant enough situation that an accommodation in the software can be made. I'm stunned, really. I searched posts, back a whole year, and all I see when I search on "backspace" are people talking about how they used it as a navigation key and accidentally lost their music, and "now what."

Now what? Fix it, is what! This is hardly cosmetic, this is an entirely functional change that's needed for the Windows version. Clearly.

plze help me, my hard drive died on me, and i havent backed up my library. ive downloaded a new itune on my new harddrive, but obviously i have no library now. there must be a way to get the tunes from my ipod or to get the old library back somehow. and yes i know im silly for not backing up my library, i shall do so from now on.surley there is a way to download my music from my ipod to the library? and why cant i just email itunes support?

Okay, so my main computer, the one that had the purchased songs and had list of the song I purchased.. when I plug my iPod into the computer, the iPod icon won't show up in the iTunes, instead, it opened to a new window. So I uninstall to reinstall it because that's what the iTunes told me to do. When I tried to download it won't let me, and I can't download other programs too.. and people said my computer has virues.. so I no longer have iTunes on my main computer.. is there any other ways that I can get my songs back from my other computers by logging at the same account?? Help!
